What Women Think of DRIVEN:
All women who visit DRIVEN have the opportunity to provide feedback regarding their level of satisfaction with the services provided. All feedback provided is important to assess whether we are meeting the needs of women who seek support through DRIVEN as well as ensuring that we are meeting our values in service delivery. Women have been very positive about the support provided to them at DRIVEN.
“ A lot of options to help with my situation that I didn't know were available."
“ Friendly, respectful, understanding and professional staff."
“ All the information was available in one location."
“ With so many variables in my situation (housing, returning to work, daycare options, safety considerations) it was amazing to have one place to get answers/ suggestions for all the issues."
“ I didn't feel judged."
“ Thank you for providing me with the next steps."
“ Making me feel validated in my decision to leave."
“ I received help immediately."
“ How well all my questions were answered and how I felt safe talking about my situation."
When asked what changes they would recommend, women most often responded with no changes or a request that DRIVEN be open more often.
“ Wish it was open at least twice a week."
“ Perhaps have walk in appointments more than once a week."
“ More days open."
What Our Partners Think of DRIVEN:
DRIVEN also requests feedback from the agencies that we are partnered with to ensure that we are providing an efficient and effective system of services to meet the needs of women.
“ Offering clients access to multiple services in one location allows women who would otherwise be unable to receive support, due to transportation difficulties or time constraints, to plan for their safety and the safety of their children in one place, often in one day. A monetary value cannot be placed upon the chance given to women and children who attend DRIVEN to have a life of freedom and safety from violence.”
“ Partnering with DRIVEN has increased my capacity to ensure proper and timely referrals. Further, DRIVEN allows for individuals in the community who are not able to access different resources independently to attend one location for help."
“ It's been great as a resource to be able to refer someone for immediate support...women save time because they access several services at one spot in one visit."
“ Our partnership with DRIVEN ensures the needs of women experiencing domestic abuse and gender-based violence are included in our program and service delivery planning."
